It’s been a long time coming, but Summer Walker has finally dropped her sophomore album Still Over It today, and the sad girls are eating good. Measuring at 20 songs, the album features the likes of Ari Lennox, JT from City Girls, SZA, Lil Durk and Cardi B, as Summer Walker goes back and forth on heartbreak, healing and realisation. Heavily influenced by her break up with former collaborator and partner London on Da Track, the artist holds nothing back on the project and dives into complications found in their relationship using smooth R&B productions and soundscapes as her narrative.

In an exclusive Apple Music reveal, the artist said, “Take this opportunity to learn from my mistakes. You don’t have to guess if something is love. Love is shown through actions. Stop making excuses for people who don’t show up for you. Don’t ignore the red flags. And don’t think you have to stay somewhere ’cause you can’t find better—you can and you will. Don’t settle for less—you don’t deserve it and neither does your family.”
