Netflix has turned to the sustainable brand to help them celebrate the show’s highly-anticipated sequel.
While most hit Netflix shows become adored thanks to their gripping plotlines and stellar performances, when it comes to the warmly-received Emily in Paris, there is one aspect of the show to which its success can be attributed, and that’s its fashion.
With this in mind, in a bid to celebrate the upcoming release of Emily in Paris 2, the streaming service looked to some of the biggest names currently emerging out of the fashion scene to create a collection inspired by the beloved series. And, naturally, they landed on the sustainable womenswear label, My Beachy Side.
Looking to embody the aesthetics of the upcoming season, which will see the sweet marketing executive take to the glamorous streets of St Tropez, the environmentally conscious and empowerment-focused brand unveils an inherently Parisian Resort 22 collection, packed full of clean-cut 20s sensibilities. Also boasting an irresistible yet somewhat patriotic colour palette and plenty of nautical references, the collection perfectly taps into the clashing of cultures synonymous with the show, all the while ensuring that its Riviera-ready nature offers fans an insight as to what is to come from its upcoming sequel.
When speaking on the new collection, My Beachy Side founder Gamze Ates claimed, “We were inspired by the show, which really showcases the power of fashion and the power of women, so it was a natural fit for us. The show is so widely-loved it seemed like a great opportunity to give a voice to what we do – we believe in the power of fashion to change the world and our mission is creating sustainable jobs, cultivating local economy, empowering disadvantaged women and refugees without sacrificing style.”
Available to pre-order online at mybeachyside.com now, this is a collection that you won’t want to miss out on.
