Bringing retro grooves to 2021 with his new remix is producer Kassin “Cali High”. Enlisting singer Fede Montero, the track takes us through an inspiring journey lead by a heart-pounding bassline and calming synths. Lacing the single with serene vocals, the producer take us into a nostalgic soundscape, filled with warming elements and nuance.

“It was an beautiful experience to remix ‘Cali High’ with MTRSS, ” Kassin revealed. “I tried to give it a disco vibe, it started out as remix but ended up as rerecording cause the original bpm was not good for disco, it’s a new track, Fede’s vocals are outstanding!”

Made up of a global conglomeration of artists from all around the world, MTRSS pushes the boundaries of contemporary music and art, combining their individuality with various experimental sounds and productions. Known to be one of Brazil’s leading music producers, Kassin has spent the past decade working with the likes of Hiromi and Daniel Jobin, while soaking up various elements of dance and pop music from Latin America. With more music on the way, we’re excited to see where else Kassin will take his sound.
