Making a debut onto the scene can be a daunting experience, but showing us how it’s done with his bold new single is singer-songwriter CYFAR with “Sober”. Introducing us to his own blend of afro-pop, the artist rides a trap-tinged production, lacing it with soothing adlibs and harmonising vocals.

Speaking on the release, the artist said, “This is a song about a man who chose to change his life by becoming ‘sober’, turning his back on all bad influences and addictions just to bring joy to his woman. It is a fitting tribute to all the great women in our lives who work their socks off making our house a home, and most of all a show of gratitude to the people who stood by us through the harshest of times. A powerful reminder that love truly conquers all.”

Born and raised in Nigeria before relocating the melting pot of east London, the singer cites his church background as his main inspiration. Immersing himself into the scene in the past few years, the artist is currently dedicating himself to developing his versatility and we can’t wait to see his journey.
