Brooklyn based singer-songwriter, Richard Orofino is lending his alternative vocals to new track, “Wanna Say”. An ode to the sounds of the 90s, listeners can hope to bask in shimmering alt-pop sensibilities and the warm strum of acoustic instrumentation that features on the summer-ready and joy-inducing cut. And, with deeply introspective lyrics that promote self-love laying over Richard’s production, the track becomes all the more captivating.

“’Wanna Say’ is about finally feeling confident enough in myself and my thoughts to be able to share those feelings with the judgmental part of me. Even if that part of me doesn’t want to hear or acknowledge those true feelings, I can stand up for what I know I truly desire and feel is right for me. The idea that it’s possible to have this internal dialogue while standing confidently in my beliefs. Confident enough to overcome that shamefulness and self-doubt is the message.”

While “Wanna Say” is planting the artist firmly on the map, this is not the first we are hearing of Richard. Having nurtured his love of production since 2013, the multi-faceted artist has been making waves in the industry with tracks such as “Fake Me” for a while now, making him an artist to keep a close eye on.
