It is fair to say that when the news broke of Addison Rae‘s debut foray into the acting world with the remake of the classic rom-com She’s All That, scepticism was rife. But, filled with plenty of laughs, teen angst and romance, the trailer for He’s All That is here to let you know that it is a film worth adding to your watchlist.

As with any good teen movie, the trailer commences with the scene of the film’s protagonist, Padgett aka Addison, getting her heart broken as she catches her famed boyfriend with another woman. This unfortunate plot detail then kickstarts a tale of teen revenge as the TikTok sensation and her friends seek out their most unsuspecting peer, who is played by heart-throb Tanner Buchanan, to undergo a makeover in the name of dethroning her ex as the hottest guy in school. With a Kourtney Kardashian cameo confirmed and the promise of social media-fuelled drama and a plot filled with young love hanging in the balance, the movie is already shaping up to join the original film in being a classic rom-com.

With August 27th set as the film’s release, we will definitely be tuning in to cheer on Addison as she makes her acting debut at the end of the month.
