Alt-pop artist Chloe Rodgers is shaking things up with her latest release, “Better View”. Stepping away from her electronic roots, the artist looks towards an organic sound as stripped back instrumentation shimmers underneath her intensely sweet vocals. Jazzy notes make their way into the track courtesy of a saxophone, giving the artist’s latest project an effortlessly cool lounge sound.

And, while the track itself is sure to have listeners in a state of summery bliss, that is not where the project stops. Taking to a cluttered, sun-soaked set that is washed over in a warm tangerine glow, Chloe unveils the “Better View” music video. Brimming with vibrant character, the single-shot display allows watchers to enjoy scenes of the artist floating amongst a talented live band, furthering the track’s calm-inducing nature.

“I can’t take any credit for the ideas behind the ‘Better View’ music video, the team made such a cool set,” the singer exclaims. “We filmed a couple of videos in one day and ‘Better View’ was the first. The gaffers were laughing at me when Jodie, the makeup artist, kept re-doing my makeup between takes because I obviously wasn’t used to it and kept giggling. I’ve never done a shoot in a studio like that before. I had initially imagined the music video for this song revolving around an older couple but it morphed into a live video, and I’m pleased we did!”
