With the newly-released debut album Timeless Present offering the wider public their introduction to his artistic lyricism and infectious sounds, singer-songwriter Ryan The Son is exploding onto the scene. While the project’s tracks such as “Overcome” and “Timeless” are glimmering examples of the artist’s raw talent, “Found” embodies his skills best. Ushered in by a rapidly flowing summery beat, the warm sounds of acoustic guitars meet production filled with percussive claps as the song instantly uplift listeners. And, with Ryan’s vocals switching between melodies filled with longing and soul and poetic monologue-like raps that lace his entire project, the album’s two-toned nature becomes evident.

“Timeless Present is a sonic journey into becoming present with one’s self and absent of the pressures of time,” explains the artist when discussing his debut album. “The production and songwriting will be both down to earth, yet otherworldly. Simple, yet majestic. Human, yet ethereal. Sorrowful, yet triumphant.”

Citing a diverse range of artists such as Kid Cudi and Han Zimmer as inspiration, the wildly unique and genre-crossing nature of Ryan’s blended project makes all the more sense. And, having gained a rapidly-growing following after dropping singles from Timeless Present back in 2019, it is clear that his new project is only set to further establish the artist’s place in the industry as he embarks on what is sure to be a decorated career.
