For fans of the tempered lo-fi production of Frank Ocean and Bakar, here comes Baltimore disrupter CamQuarter with his own hypnotic fusion of R&B and hip-hop, laced with hints of melancholic indie and coursing with soul.

Delivered via his slick and measured flow, as well as his signature woozy sub bass and kick heavy trunk-rattling beats, is brand new release “Starstruck”, marking the rapper’s most honest and intimate music to date, plus a reflection of his journey so far.

Taken from his brand new EP “Nimbus”, “Starstruck” also features pensive visuals showing a day in the life of the artist, with the music video opening with a telling quote from Don Quixote author Miguel de Cervantes about overcoming adversity and how your trials and tribulations turn you into the person you are: “One man scorned and covered with scars still strove with his last ounce of courage to reach the unreachable stars; and the world will be better for this.”

“I wrote a lot of this EP just going through the motions, reflecting on how I got to this point in my life and what made me the person I am today,” the artist explains about the new EP.” I tried to put a lot of soul into these songs, I want people to listen and connect with every track on this track.”
