While the surprise of avant garde silhouettes and eccentric hues is a welcomed aspect of the menswear collections we are currently feasting on, sometimes a display of the classics cannot be beaten. And Tod’s is proving this to be the case with their SS22 collection.
Showcased amongst the idyllic Tuscan countryside at Cantina Petra, the brand’s sun-soaked “Under The Italian Sun” video plays host to classic menswear sensibilities. With a focus on relaxed cuts and intricate craftsmanship, the collection sees Creative Director Walter Chiapponi unveil the staple Jack Biker jacket and uniform co-ords that have undergone a subtle elevation with the introduction of sumptuous leather and suede finishes. And with the warm Mediterranean haze from the show’s background injecting itself into the collection’s colour palette, the Italian brand’s heritage lays over each of the softly tailored garments.
