As pumped up as we want this summer to be, sometimes we need some chill vibes to break up the high impact energy, and pianist Chloe Flower is providing. Dropping her new single “Bohemia”, the artist offers us a beautiful piano-led single that instantly soothes and relaxes listeners. Infusing classical vibes with a contemporary trap beat, the artist fiercely captures the essence of the Moulin Rouge, with sultry and passionate chords. Translating each sensual note into a provocative cabaret-style video, the pianist pays homage to Baz Luhrmann’s musical blockbuster, with clouds of cigar smoke filling the scene and Emmy-winning actor Jeffrey Wright making an appearance.

Speaking on the single, the artist said, “I am used to not fitting in. Growing up, I didn’t always fit in with the traditional Asian community, and I didn’t totally fit in with my mostly white community. In music, my experience was exactly the same – I didn’t fit into the classical music scene, but as an instrumentalist, I didn’t fit into the pop world either. Rather than conforming, I decided I would embrace my distinctive style, and ‘Bohemia’ is a perfect example of my new genre.

Having performed with artists such as Cardi B at the 2019 Grammy Awards and Ariana Grande favourite Tommy Brown, Flower has become one of the most talked-about pianists in the industry, and she is showing no signs of slowing down.
