Whenever a renowned brand partners with a seemingly unexpected name, the intrigue of a fusion of creative and artistic minds is always exciting. Taking this prospect to the next level is the French fashion house Louis Vuitton, as they unveil their explosive multi-year collaboration with none other than Formula 1 Grand Prix.
To kick off the exciting partnership, the brand has revealed that it has designed the fashion-infused Trophy Travel Case for the Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco this year, which will be awarded to the winner of the race later this month. Laced with the grandeur and status associated with both parties, victory stripes lay over the case which is crafted to perfection and littered with the infamous Louis Vuitton monogram in a display of stylistic flair. And, with this being the first reveal of what is set to be a lengthy and successful partnership, the promise of top tier fashion-meets-sports offerings hangs in the air.
“Fangio, Hill, Moss, Stewart, Senna, Prost, Schumacher or more recently Alonso, Vettel, Rosberg, Ricciardo or Hamilton, the Monaco Grand Prix has celebrated the greatest champions. At almost 300 km/h between the rails, it’s the Formula 1 Grand Prix that all drivers aspire to win one day. Today, we are proud to be associated with the race and to together start writing a piece of history. The Trophy trunk epitomizes ‘Victory travels in Louis Vuitton’ – witnessing the next victories and continuing to carry legends!” says Louis Vuitton’s Chairman and CEO Michael Burke when speaking on the upcoming partnership.
