That’s right, our beloved Brasserie of Light is back on the menu, welcoming revellers and coffee-drinkers back from Monday the 17th of May. To mark their monumental return to the London restaurant scene, BoL is celebrating with a dazzling new cocktail menu, limited-edition afternoon tea, and a weekly DJ programme. Think tea, biscuits and tunes, cocktails over chill-wave classics, that kind of vibe.
Will Beatty, BoL’s manager, has even created a series of cocktails inspired by the head-rushing thrill and glamour of London after dark. To start we’ve got The Light Fantastic, chamomile infused Absolut Elyx with Italicus, lemon and pineapple soda, followed closely by the Prize of Perseus, a lavender-infused Beefeater gin with syrup, lemon and mandarin served with a glittered Pegasus stencil. Or perhaps the Soaring Sparkles is more your fancy, a raspberry-infused Havana (three-year-old), topped with lemongrass cordial, Graham Beck Brut and garnished with crushed raspberries.
