AHS IS BACK

Sirens or Bloody Mary? Ryan Murphy is letting the AHS fanbase decide on what we can expect from the upcoming tenth season.

It’s been two years since we’ve had the chance to binge-watch Ryan Murphy’s anthology horror series, and finally, after many protests from fans, we’re getting a glorious tenth season sometime this year or next.

Announcing last night that the show will either focus on either sirens or Bloody Mary and will be split across two storylines, the AHS fan base went into overload and began putting together theories of what we can expect from the upcoming season. With Murphy and Netflix dripping feeding us updates and casting over the past weeks and months, we thought we’d round up everything you need to know about this upcoming season.

Check out all the info below….

Dropping the news on IG last night, Murphy announced that model Kaia Gerber will be making her AHS debut. Having already made her acting debut in The Last Day of Summer and Sister Cities, the model is in the process of making the switch from the runway to the small screen. While we don’t know what the model-turned-actress will be portraying in the new series, we’re thinking maybe a mermaid or siren if we’re following Murphy’s crumbs.

From summer camp to the beach?

So far AHS has taken us to a post-apocalyptic bunker, the divided town of Brookfield Heights and blood bath hotels – nothing is off-limits for Ryan Murphy. But the one place we haven’t been to arguably yet is the beach, and the producer is teasing its pending arrival. Sharing a picture of hands clambering up a grassy sand beach last March, Murphy captioned the image, “things are beginning to wash up on shore…”

Brace yourself, there could be the return of the iconic witches

The rumour mill has been churning; yes, at some point we’re are going to dip back into one of the most iconic seasons so far – AHS: Coven – and maybe this is it. Murphy has said in the past that the witches from the Coven and Apocalypse season will return at some point during the AHS series, but no further information has been given since this announcement in 2018. But if sirens and mermaids are a fixture in this current season, we know witches can’t be far behind…

A few fan favourites are returning

If there is one thing AHS is known for it’s their stellar cast. From Sarah “RANGE” Paulson to fan favourite Evan Peters, a bucket load of stars are returning for this season including Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock. Former child star Macaulay Culkin is also making his AHS debut in this season, joining the ensemble cast. Murphy was keen to reunite a lot of the stars for the tenth season, as he said this season would be “about reuniting fan-favourite actors to come back” – so that means Lady Gaga, right?

Sirens or Bloody Mary?

Ryan Murphy is known to through huge curveballs every once in a while, but nothing could have prepared us for this. The producer announced that for the upcoming tenth season, he is giving us the chance to vote on what we want to see. Taking to Twitter and Instagram, the Hollywood producer has been pitting fans against each other over the battle of Sirens or Blood Mary. With the voting looking too close to call, we’re even more uncertain on what to expect.
