We’ve all been there. We’ve broken up with a partner and started the healing process in mending a broken heart and finding ourselves again, but just as our best lives start returning to us, your ex comes running back and old wounds reopen. With the whole situation putting you in a cloudy headspace, you might not know what to do. Luckily for us singer-songwriter Fowler is putting all his emotions on the situation in his latest tune “Don’t You Say”. Leading us into a bright and lively synth combination, the tune erupts into funk paradise with dynamic bass lines and instrumentals weaving over and into each other. Riding the production with his well-polished vocals, the singer dives into the story, as he details the beginning of the healing process and how he eventually walks away.
Produced over Zoom calls, the 22-year-old adapted his working environment for the single, as he pulled on a range of melodies and genres to create the striking single. No stranger to the music scene, the singer and multi-instrumentalist has gone on to work with the likes of James Kenosha and Magnus Chapple. With more music on the way, keep a close eye on the singer in the coming months.
