Back with razor-sharp lyricism and delivery is rising Virginia-hailed rapper Al-Doms with his latest tune “Ice Cream”. Elevating his sound this year, the 26-year-old takes us through a ferocious hip-hop beat filled with euphoric conscious bars reminiscent of Kendrick Lamar. Providing his fans with motivation and optimism in his new track, the rapper hones in on his craft and delivers a tune about the struggles of chasing your dreams and the trial and errors it takes to get there.

“I wrote this song when I felt like everything I wanted to accomplish seemed so far away,” Al-Doms reveals. “Everything I wanted to accomplish seemed so far away because of how slow everything around me was moving but my ambition was too big to put limits on myself.”

Having grown up around hip-hop and its surrounding culture, the rapper released his first song at 18 before going on to release two projects titled, “Snack Raps” and “No Concept”. But entering a new era, the rapper is ready to relay the strengths of his writing in his highly-anticipated upcoming project “New Dream”. The rapper went on to say that he wants his fans to “discover themselves though his art and find their purpose” in this new project.
