Blessing us with another euphoric track before the year ends is singer-songwriter Tiggi Hawke with “High Season”. Bursting with rumbling electronic basslines and shimmering synths, the singer enters an alt-pop soundscape as she searches for an out-of-body experience.
Speaking on writing the new single, the singer said, “This single is a personal one, it’s about staying ‘high’ emotionally, something I openly struggle with, and that weirdly trippy/euphoric feeling when it actually does happen. It feels very liberating and slightly scary, to be so open emotionally and lyrically in this song and to share that almost out-of-body experience which I find myself looking for.”
Hailing from London, the singer-songwriter has spent the year creating a plethora of anthemic pop gems, showcasing her raw lyricism ability as she pulls from her own experiences. Having gained support from the likes of Radio 1 and Kiss radio, the singer working on a takeover for 2021 – watch this space.
