From slinky leather vests to baggy market shoppers, take a peek at Stefan Cooke’s sustainable wares from AW20.
After the tumult of this past weekend, I think we’re all in need of an aesthetically pleasing lift on this drizzly Monday morning. Luckily for us, Stefan Cooke’s collaboration with London based-artist and airbrusher extraordinaire Will Bond has just entered the chat.
Headed up by designer power-couple Jake Burt and Cooke himself, the Central Saint Martins grads have been spicing up the London menswear scene for a while now. Known for their sleek, slitted knitwear and concoctions of fascinating silhouettes and fabrics, it would only make sense that they’re absolutely killer at accessories too.
Taken from the fashion house’s AW20 collection, Cooke’s latest wares utilise dead-stock fabric and sourced materials to minimise their environmental impact, showing us sustainability can be incredibly sexy as long as they, and Will Bond, have anything to say about it. Think slinky, skin-tight zip vests, or vintage bags and baggy farmers market shoppers, all bearing motifs of dark and stormy skies or neon-doused spikes.
Whether your poison is an over the shoulder moment adorned in a visually arresting end credits title, or perhaps some delicious tanned leather, Stefan Cooke have plenty of beautiful things you can sink your teeth (or wallet) into this holiday season, you’ll just have to be quick about it…
