Taylor announces a new album and Ariana Grande drops the trailer for her new Netflix documentary? This Thursday is one for the history books. Teasing earlier this week, the singer gives us the first look at her Netflix documentary titled excuse me, i love you. Captured during her Sweetener Tour, the documentary takes us through all the BTS of the show, from hilarious dance rehearsals to emotional moments. Stating in the documentary that the tour saved her life, the Netflix show will share hundreds of moments from the live shows as Grande grapples with the tense and cathartic moments of tour life.
Having released the Sweetener live album k, bye for now earlier this year as well as collaborating with Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson on a highly addictive Christmas tune, Grande wrote a sweet caption alongside the announcement on Insta, stating, “Releasing this as a love letter to [you] all, in celebration of all that we’ve shared over the past few years. I know this project only captures some of one tour (out of all the other hundreds of shows and moments we have shared over the past six or seven years… Jesus, lol) but I just wanted to thank [you] all for showing me more in this lifetime already than I ever dreamed of. Making music and doing all of this has been all I’ve known or fully given myself to consistently for a very long time now. Although my heart is looking forward to a change of pace, I wanted to express again just how eternally thankful I am.” The documentary drops December 21st on Netflix.
