Giving us the final taster to his highly anticipated EP, is Paris-hailed artist Niels Schack with mellow pop tune “AIR”. Exploring elements of alt-pop with woozy melodies, the singer advocates going back to your roots and appreciating the things you’ve overlooked. Accompanied by a heist-themed video directed by Lola Bastard, Schack and his crew take us to a wild adventure with airport hangouts and lots of improvisation.
Speaking on his latest release, the singer commented, “After running around, for a while, trying things out and building some sort of life for myself. I kinda realised how nice it is to come back to something familiar, somewhere you care about. When you get back there and appreciate those things you overlooked, it’s priceless. I guess I stopped running away to places just because I was bored with myself. That felt comforting.”
Having had music a part of his life from an early age, the multi-faced artist and composer has been lending his talents to various genres over the years, venturing into hip-hop and jazz. With his new EP dropping December 4th, expect nothing but genre-bending hits and a varied musical skillset.
