While we are still reeling in the news that The Batman and Dune have been pushed back due to the pandemic that shall not be named, our favourite K-pop group BLACKPINK are here to save the day with the release of their highly-anticipated documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky. Teasing the trailer today, it looks like we’re going behind the scenes of the chart-topping group as they let us into their very secretive personal lives. With dance rehearsals, Coachella performances and an album release, the documentary offers an insider look on how the group have dealt with their meteoric rise to fame and continued success.
Slated to be released on Netflix on October 14, a statement attached to the documentary said, “As BLACKPINK continues reaching new heights in their career — from headlining sold-out world tours to becoming the first female Korean group to perform at Coachella — each member reflects on the ups and downs of fame and the long, often challenging journey that brought them to worldwide success,”
