How do you define luxury in 2020? CDLP’s answer is pretty simple: stick multi-hyphenate French artist Sébastien Tellier on a piano, and dress him in the suavest, silkiest loungewear known to man.
The collection, aptly titled “Home”, is an ode to personal sanctuaries at a time where they’re all we know, loosely re-appropriated as workspaces and private cocoons. As summer was effectively a bust, and with fears of a second lockdown looming, the closing gap between indoor and outdoor dressing means loungewear is well and truly having a moment, and thanks to CDLP HOME, it’s at least going to be a pretty one.
The luxurious capsule was sustainably created in Portgual, with short suits, robes and twin sets all receiving the CDLP treatment, having been developed in the brand’s signature lyocell – an ultra-breathable cellulose fibre that not only requires less water and land to produce than cotton, but is also sourced from sustainably grown wood allowing for moisture-wicking and a smooth to touch feel.
