Some songs just simmer with the intensity of skin-on-skin contact, and one such example is the brand new release from LA powerhouse producer sakehands.
Unfurling like the hazy smoke of an after-party, mellifluous honeyed vocals open the track, carried along by twinkling minimal synths, before the R&B-meets-electronic production builds to a crescendo.
The brainchild of Aris Maggiani, sakehands has been making waves in the industry since his explosive 2018 debut “PLASTIC” – which has now garnered up to a staggering two million streams.
“I wanted to write a piece about someone or something without ever explicitly stating what that thing is,” explains Maggiani. “For some reason I chose a topic I know nothing about.”
