Academy Award nominee Luca Guadagnino is blessing us with a new TV series and we’re already obsessed. Set to premiere September 14, We Are Who We Are follows the story of American teenagers, Fraser (Jack Dylan Grazer) who arrives at an army base with his mother and quickly befriends the enigmatic Caitlin (Jordan Kristen Seamon) who has been there with her family for several years.

The trailer showcases the two teenagers navigate the intense highs and lows of adolescence while exploring love, friendship and sexuality. We Are Who We Are is easily one of the most anticipated dramas set to land this autumn and it boasts a star-studded cast featuring Kid Cudi, Faith Alabi and Chloe Sevigny.

But for those of you looking a Call Me By Your Name part two, be warned as Guadagnino has stated that the show couldn’t be more different. “I will never complain about people’s laziness, but that sounds very lazy,” Guadagnino told IndieWire. “Call Me By Your Name is about the past seen through the prism of a cinematic narrative and this is about the here and now. This is about the bodies and souls of now. I think they are so different.” Whatever the eight-drama entails we’re totally here for it.
