Back with his angelic vocals and a vibrant web of soaring productions is singer-songwriter KYRI, with his well-crafted debut EP “Waves”. Taking us through a raw and impassioned project, KYRI delivers a spellbinding EP filled with sweeping tones and diverse instrumentation. The singer’s impressive vocals shine through on this EP, with his otherworldly range on standout track “Internet” giving us goosebumps.

Speaking on the release of his new collection, the singer said, “My debut EP ‘Waves’ is a bittersweet, personal collection of songs about waves of water, sound, electricity, energy, emotion, pain, hope, healing and change. In ‘Internet’, I wanted to explore my generation’s relationship with the internet and its effects on our mental and emotional wellbeing. In these crazy dystopian times, we find ourselves in, we’re pouring more and more of ourselves into social media than ever before. I think we’ve created such a ‘worship-like culture’ with online popularity which can really mess with the ego, so It was fun to run with this idea in a tongue and cheek, dark, more avant-garde kind of way.”

KYRI’s expressive soundscape and melodic storytelling has led him to receive praise from the likes of BBC Introducing and Adele’s producer Martin Hollis. The rising singer is bursting with potential and we’re excited to see where the coming months will take him.
