Speaking on the track the young artist said, “It was written as a note for myself, to cushion the fall of an inevitably breaking relationship. Although there’s an innate sadness to wandering lamp-lit, empty streets at 2am, there’s also something quite romantic about it too and I wanted to capture that romance like a little polaroid picture, of what once was. It was always going to be a little bit sad too, but that’s just the way it goes.”
