With lush layered vocals and fearless lyrics, British signer-songwriter Alice Rowe blends soul with pop for her latest single “Flex On You”, taken from her highly anticipated EP “Foreseen” – which is set to drop August 4th. Creating a gentle soundscape of guitar riffs and melodic pianos, Alice’s mesmerising vocals and sassy lyrics guide us through this uplifting tune. Following previous singles “Do You Feel Me, Phase,” and “Figure You Out”, Alice is making sure her ex doesn’t forget her as she sings, “Going to hear my name everywhere / Driving you insane but I don’t care.”
Speaking on the tune the rising star said, “It’s one of those situations where someone fucks you over but once you’re out of it you realise you’re better. I was in this situation with someone, he even tried to talk to my friend and thought I didn’t know, I wrote the song straight after I found out so the song is very raw.”
Having drawn in interest from BBC 1Xtra and with her EP “Foreseen” set to drop in August – keep a close eye on this singer because she’s set for a takeover.
