A rabid flame incinerating a fuse. A spiritual ceremony in a sunset-basked desert. Lovers driving in a car. These are just some of the soul-stirring snapshots in the latest cinematic short film/music video from London artist Luca Wilding.
Wilding wrote “Heartachers” for a friend in the early stages of dealing with mental illness. Gently plucked guitar strings and Wilding’s ethereal vocals build to a crescendo, just as an explosion of fireworks in the music video jolts us into the action.
Luca Wilding explains: “’Heartachers’ is about learning to let go of what was. It was meant as a kind of call to arms; an invocation of the strength it takes to overcome the mountains of the mind. It tells the simple story of trying to love someone through all their pain and despite their sadness.”
The short film was crafted by award-winning film maker Patrick Fileti.
