PREMIERE: EMMA CHARLES – “25”

Nostalgia and hazy sepia hues positively emanate from “25”, which clicks into life like the mechanics of an old-school television, followed by sun-soaked guitar strums and heavenly vocal loops. “I miss when you liked me / I miss how it used to be” starts singer-songwriter Emma Charles – dreamy crooning vocals telling a story of hope and heartbreak against a textured Americana soundscape, with hints of electronic influences.

And the animated visuals see footage of the doll counterpart of the Conneticut-hailed singer performing on a glittered toy stage, spliced with retro audience footage.
