In the countryside, two women argue. They laugh. They spar playfully with each other. And tumble lovingly in the grass. It’s an abstract and poetic look at love that once was, and is the focus of the brand new visuals from London-based LGBT artist St. Blue.
“Ashes” bubbles into life with experimental synths, populating the electronic-pop track, alongside St. Blue’s dreamy vocals.
“The video to ‘Ashes’ is an arty and dreamlike representation of two girls who were once in love, revisiting the relationship, it’s hurt and it’s passion,” explains St. Blue. “The fire and ashes are symbolic of their relationship and it’s breakdown. Knowing they can’t last in the outside world, they can’t help coming back to find each other and relive their moments together in hope they can figure out what went wrong.”
