We are all familiar with the incendiary pain of when an old love moves on, and a new artist perfectly capturing this phenomenon with a raw and relatable quality is Welsh singer-songwriter Adam Hender.

In his brooding visuals, the Llandudno native reminisces over a glass of whisky, and passionately bashes the keys of a piano while lamenting: “I heard the other day he took you out on a real date / just when I thought we were getting somewhere.”

“‘I Don’t Mind’ is a song about loving someone so much, even though they don’t love you back,” Adam explains . “Being there for them even though they’re not there for you. It’s about wanting that person to be happy even if it’s not with you. Unconditional.”
