HANKIE’S HAYMARKET

Inside Hankie’s dazzling third restaurant, serving fragrant north Indian tapas-style small plates.

Tender tiger prawn skewers, fresh from the tandoor oven. Chilli lamb chops. Snow crab, shrimp and sago seeds. North Indian dining has now come to Haymarket, with a Hankie’s Restaurant opening its dazzling third home in London (following the success stories of Shaftesbury Avenue and Marble Arch) – with its speciality in aromatic traditional small plates.

And the space itself, manages to be both opulent and intimate, with an industrial feel (think wire mesh panels) contrasted with more glitzy fittings (chandeliers anyone?) – the best of both worlds.

Expect tunes from Thursday through to Saturday from a resident DJ, with delicious Sunday brunches set to launch in the coming weeks (to take the necessary sting off weekend hangovers).

We’ll see you there.
