One of Britain’s most talked-about contemporary designers, Ashley Williams, showcased her new AW20 collection on Friday at London Fashion Week. The designer is known for her quirky combination of sense of humour and contrasting inspiration from all around the world. Outlandish reworking of vintage shapes? You got it. Jackets emblazoned with images of animals, and tights covered in money (yes, please!). The collection embodied tongue-in-cheek with romance for the ages.

Williams is most well known for her playful, glittering hairpins modelled by girl gangs all over London. The collection also pays homage to 00s fashion as they debuted Samsung’s latest flip phone: the ultra-cool futuristic Galaxy Z Flip on the runway (in a micro bag, no less).
