Palm Angels took us back to the Wild Wild West with their second appearance at NYFW, presenting us with their Fall 2020/2021 collection, giving us tassels, browns and ponchos galore. Creative director Francesco Ragazzi displayed a boundless American cultural landscape for his new collection, evoking imagery of the rocky mountains, canyons and glaring sun over an overlapping of various cultures. Ragazzi showcased artful stains dripped over shearling jackets; plus fringes and dresses made with striped shirting cotton. We had no choice but to stan one of the standout pieces which featured hand-made detailing on the back of a landscaped jacket of the rocky mountains.

Also turning jewellery into decorative prints this season, with pyjamas doubling up suits. And of course, who could forget Palm Springs’ signature skater shoes? Singers Justine Skye and Tinashe were both in attendance at the late-night showing which ended with a celebratory round of applause for the designer.
