Young love. There’s nothing quite like it. And the tentative and raw throes of the all-encompassing phenomenon get their spotlight in the latest release from East London newcomer James Smith.

“Say You’ll Stay” is the brand new track from the singer and multi-instrumentalist, with the gentle pop ode building to a crescendo with hearty guitar strings, a propulsive rhythm and soaring chorus. Taken from his new record “An EP By James Smith”, the artist’s soulful vocals call to mind his musical inspirations, Paolo Nutini, Mark Ronson and Michael Kiwanuka.

And the heartwarming visuals see Smith taking a day trip to the seaside with his love interest, complete with games at the promenade arcade, a frolic on the seafront and longing looks on public transport.
