Whether you love it or hate it, winter is coming. Fluffy coats and hats. Hip flasks and warm fires and snow-covered fields. And this is exactly the vibe we’re getting from this haunting video for Stockholm-born singer-songwriter Berg, for new track “Take Off Your Disguise”.

Born to a Swedish father and an American mother, the London-based artist began as a classically trained musician before her foray into melancholic pop, starting with her well-received debut single “What If”. Filmed in the Scottish highlands and funded through a Kickstarter campaign, the new video tracks a failed romance, as the visuals get more and more wacky behind Berg’s melodic vocals.

”If ‘What If’ is about regret”, Berg explains, “then ‘Take Off Your Disguise’ is about what we reveal and what we hide: what we expose and what we mask; and how hiding ourselves can lead us to regret”.
