It’s looking like summer has finally arrived, and NYC-based artist Riz La Vie has come through with the goods to soundtrack it.

Borrowing elements from hip-hop, indie-pop and R&B, the singer-songwriter decorates his dreamy vocals with ethereal synths, textured percussion and slow-rolling beats in his brand new, five-track EP “Breathe”. Encouraging us to take a moment for ourselves, each laid-back, introspective track provides the perfect accompaniment to a mellow afternoon in the sun.

“To anybody listening to my music, I hope it gives you the confidence to go within yourself and the find the light that you have been hiding from you”, Riz says on its message: “Breathe yourself down to your core and find it, create it, or cough it up. We are millions of years of evolution, superheroes – those powers get unlocked with a few little keys. Breathe.”
