Every year without fail, stretches of rainbow-coloured flags and glittered revellers take to the streets in celebration of inclusion, freedom and the LGBTQIA+ community. And this year, there is yet another reason to celebrate, as Ralph Lauren have unveiled their Pride capsule collection, alongside a heartwarming campaign which features a diverse group of real individuals.
On the line-up we have Olympic medalist and activist Gus Kenworthy; ballet dancer Harper Watters; writer, comedian, and actress Patti Harrison; photographer and model Jacob Bixenman; actress Josie Totah; and Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) affiliates Evrisha, Tyriq, and Cory, all shot by photographer Cass Bird (who is also featured with family, The Wall Group managing partner Ali, and kids Mae & Leo Bird).
Everyone featured is deeply rooted in the LGBTQIA+ community, and the campaign highlights their experiences with life, love, and self-expression. Dreamy stuff.
And for the collection itself, a five-piece line of jersey staples (graphic tee, Polo shirt, hoodie, tote, and baseball cap) emblazoned with the iconic Polo Pony, but reimagined in rainbow stripes, of course. What’s more, it’s gender-neutral, available in adult and youth sizes, and proceeds will go to Stonewall Community Foundation, benefiting an array of organisations and charities.
Ralph Lauren’s Pride collection launches on the 21 May; find out more here.
