Earlier this year, we went out to Mayrhofen in Austria for Snowbombing Festival and it was, to put it frankly, bloody incredible. Although every moment was amazing, we’ve managed to narrow the week down to our top seven most special memories from our fun in the snow. Check it out now, and see ya there next year?

Kurupt FM were always gonna pull out the big guns for their headline set on Snowbombing’s first night. The group from People Just Do Nothing, were equal parts hilarious and hit producing, performing in character and getting the whole crowd on side. And running into Grindah getting his ski boots fitted the next day was the perfect hangover pick-me-up.

Celebrating their two decades in style, Snowbombing’s annual procession was a celebration like no other. With performances from Fatboy Slim and Sink The Pink, it was the best birthday party we’ve been to in ages.

It’s the top rated food joint in Mayrhofen and during Snowbombing they also host pop up DJ events. Literal bangers and bangers. What more could you want?

Antarctic Monkeys

Antarctic Monkeys were, without a doubt, the highlight of our Snowbombing 2019. An Arctic Monkeys tribute band (obv), they had the suits and the accents down, so much so, that we were almost certain Alex Turner had made a surprise appearance. Although that could’ve been the Schnapps talking…

The perfect little bit of zen, every day you could head to the mountain top to do a bit of yoga (or Snowga, if you will). The best way to unwind before a busy ski day, or after a heavy night out if you’re still going, once you’ve done yoga on top of a mountain, it makes all yoga studios seem super last year.

Legendary music duo Chase & Status took to the incredible Forest Stage on Snowbombing’s last day for an earth shaking DJ set. With loads of lasers and tons of hits, it was the perfect end to an already brilliant festival.

Where else can you get a ski lift for 15 mins and at the top find a rave in an igloo? Only at Snowbombing! Sponsored by Smirnoff, this year’s mountain top parties saw sets by acts such as Maribou State. A unique and incredible experience, we can’t wait to head back next year.
