London singer Hollie Carmen has released her sultry new single: “Plan B”. The song showcases Carmen’s dynamic range, showcasing her smooth and soulful tones. As Carmen explains, Plan B is “about finally finding my voice after a relationship I gave so much to, and that I should’ve walked away from long before I actually did, ended. It’s about finding my power and being honest with myself about how I’d been treated.”

Born and raised in London, Carmenwas influenced by the likes of Prince, Ray Charles, Erykah Badu, and Lauryn Hill, as well as more contemporary artists such as Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, Jorja Smith, Frank Ocean, and Miguel. “Plan B” comes off the back of a strong 2018 for the singer/songwriter, who released tracks “Butterflies” and “Warrior Love”, to critical acclaim. Now, with a host of music written, unreleased music ready to go, we can’t wait to see what she does next.
