When it feels like your creativity is in a crisis, it can be hard to pull yourself out of the rut. Thankfully, software giants Adobe have been long-dedicated to changing the world through digital experiences.

At the end of last year, we received a hit of all things inspirational and motivational with their annual Adobe MAX Creativity Tour event in London.

The audience were privy to insider stories from influential pioneers across technology, illustration, music and advertising, as well as the latest innovative product updates from Adobe MAX, Adobe’s biggest creativity conference of the year.

From sketches, to casting, to the final magical commercial, advertising agency Leo Burnett and Passion Animation Studios discussed the process behind making McDonald’s Christmas advert featuring Archie the Reindeer.

Founder of buzzy UK music and youth channel SB.TV, Jamal Edwards MBE talked about his humble beginnings, early content creation on YouTube, and career highlights so far. Seriously inspiring stuff.

And Principal Manager of Creative Cloud Evangelism at Adobe, Rufus Deuchler; Adobe Creative Resident, illustrator Octavia Bromell; and Adobe XD Evangelist, Stephanie Maier discussed the latest game-changing updates to Creative Cloud. Consider our creativity sparked.

And Adobe have now also announced that Adobe MAX – The Creativity Conference, which annually is held in the US and Japan – is now coming to Europe, taking place in Lisbon on 15 – 16 June this year. 5,000 of the world’s most boundary-pushing minds (think designers, photographers, student creators and video professionals) and brands will celebrate creativity, learning about Adobe’s latest technological innovations, and providing insight into what the future holds in the industry in a series of presentations, workshops and hands-on sessions.

“Creativity is inclusive, and we want to empower more people to express their creative vision and brands to push boundaries,” explains Simon Morris, Senior Director of Marketing, Adobe EMEA. “We can’t wait to give the creative community in Europe this unique opportunity to come together to learn, share ideas, get inspired, and celebrate the power of creativity.”
