If you haven’t seen Netflix’s latest hit show, Sex Education, you must be living under a rock. The latest in a string of well-received original series, the show takes a look at puberty-dominated lives of a group of 16-year-old high-schoolers, from failed sexual ventures to circulated nudes (“it’s my vagina” has quickly become one of the show’s most iconic lines). Having been widely praised for its humorous take on the likes of puberty and sex education, as well as its tackling of more serious social issues, Sex Education is already shaping up to be one of the most popular shows of the year, and is certainly a must-watch for fans of High School Musical and Big Mouth alike. Oh, and Gillian Anderson is in it too.

We talked to some of the show’s stars – Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee Lou Wood and Connor Swindells – about puberty, the birds and the bees, and what advice they’d give their 16-year-old selves.
