We all love pizza, and we all love cocktails, so where better to take your better half, secret Santa or best pal this Christmas than Bobby Fitzpatrick, West Hampstead’s unapologetically fabulous 70s-party-pad.

With a combo of cocktails, rum and pizza at its core, the bar’s drinks list is laden with an endless selection of rum-based cocktails, including the “Alison Mahoney”, a spiced rum concoction. A selection of bottled beers, slushy cocktails and shooters including Bobby’s Falernum – with homemade Caribbean liqueur – add to the party. Don’t fill yourself up on drink, however; the menu is filled with classic deep crust American pizzas with a range of toppings such as chicken tikka and lamb doner. Aside from the pizza, once can order delicious dishes such as Bobby’s signature hamburger with a Red Leicester middle and deep-fried pickles, and chicken nuggets with dunking sauces. We all know how important desert is around Christmas, and don’t worry, Bobby’s got your sweet tooth covered, with a dessert menu stuffed full of mini doughnuts, and a a showpiece banana pie.

The bar’s interior is a time capsule to the 70s, with original wallpaper, furniture and lighting adding an authentic feel, and autographed photographs of celebrities such as Kate Bush, Leo Sayer and Olivia Newton John adorning the walls, and board games like Happy Days available to play. With three rooms including “the kitchen”, “the lounge” and “the living-room” all available to hire for private parties and events, Bobby Fitzpatrick is the perfect place for your office Christmas lunch, or if you fancy an exotic festive family dinner.

Open daily from early afternoon through to late night, Bobby Fitzpatrick’s is a fun-spirited addition to West Hampstead and brings back the feel of seventies house parties. A must-visit.
