Nestled in the heart of Kensington is the famously elegant Blakes Hotel – the world’s first boutique establishment of its kind, now affectionately known as the “Couture” hotel due to its decadent interiors and uncompromising stance on complete guest discretion.
Equally famous is Blakes Restaurant, located within the hotel. Seating an intimate 60, Blakes offers an innovative approach to classic Mediterranean dishes, with a commitment to excellence across all areas of service. Curated by Head Chefs Peter del Campo and Mariano Russo, its all-day dining menu pays homage to the restaurant’s heritage, by reinstating the favourite dishes of Blakes Hotel founder Anouska Hempel.
From exotic options like rabbit ragu tagliatelle with girolles and chargrilled octopus with tomato relish, purple potato and lime, to lighter dishes such as Cauliflower Steak served with Salsa Verde, Tahini and Tumeric, all options are seasonal and made from the highest quality ingredients.
Blakes Hotel General Manager, Neil McMillan said: “We are extremely proud of what we have created here and can’t wait for Londoners and guests to come in and try our new dishes. Having spent time ensuring that we are working with the best suppliers possible, we are presenting tasty food that people actually want to eat, made with the best ingredients available. What more could you ask for?”
