JACQUEMUS SS19

Big bag energy at the South of France vibes SS19 show.

For fall/winter 2018, the internet lost their shit for Jacquemus’ outrageously oversized straw hats (when it’s skimming the lower of your back, you know it’s big). And this season, the French fashion brand had yet more fun in store with XXL, near floor-skimming tote bags – big enough to live in basically.

Hosted in Paris’ Italian embassy, the SS19 collection was inspired by Simon Porte Jacquemus’ childhood in the South of France, so bare skin was everywhere for full mediterranean vibes.

Knotted shirting exposed navels and chests, with teensy knitted shorts showcasing stretches of legs, as well as humorously tiny grab-handle bags doubling as bumbags. Dresses flowed loosely and jewellery was 10/10 for glamour.

One ticket to France, please.
