Known for his quintessentially British and feminine offerings, designer and couturier Giles Deacon is your man when it comes to everyday luxury. So who better to collaborate with lush leather brand, Aspinal of London, for a whimsical capsule collection.

The designer was invited to impart his unique couture spin on classic Aspinal staples – and the result? Dreamy hand-drawn figures, sleek embossed details, and illustrations marking everything from handbags, to silk scarves, diaries and even Christmas crackers (c’mon, blink and it’ll be December).

“The design process for me always begins with the character – it’s who’s going to be wearing the piece and where she’s going,” explains the designer. “These are quintessential English girls, zooming around and having a good time in their frocks. They love the town and the countryside, they love fashion, quality and a bit of quintessentially English playfulness.”
