PREMIERE: CASEY LOWRY – “ME & YOU”

Introducing your next favourite singer.

Like many of our faves, Derbyshire-born Casey Lowry started his musical career in an admittedly quite shit covers band. Taking on the classics like “Mr Brightside” and “Wonderwall”, the multi-instrumentalist soon realised that playing someone else’s songs wasn’t his true path, eventually picking up the pen himself and writing his first song “Trampoline”.

Always certain that music was what he was meant to do – despite getting a U in music at school – he began to explore different genres, listening to everything from the Motown his parents would play in the car to the latest track Kerrang! was raving about.

Eventually moving to London to truly follow his passion, Casey is now working on his debut EP and we’re premiering its lead single “Me & You”. All about keeping a relationship together despite constant obstacles, the track is a sunshine-soaked earworm with an EDM-sprinkled beat and beaut melodies. A clear show of his ability to mix genres and create an irresistible sound, “Me & You” is an exciting introduction to the new musician and it’s obvious he’s only set to wow us more in the future.

Not bad for someone who failed music, eh?
