It’s summer and miraculously right now the sun is actually shining (probably a little too much, if anything). Times like this call for two things: a dreamy perch and a drink in hand. Thankfully Cointreau have teamed up with East London’s South Place Hotel for pop-up, Margarita Loves Cointreau, aka where you’ll be spending all your foreseeable weekends.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Margarita cocktail, the orange liqueur brand has set up shop in SPH’s Secret Garden bar, a tropical lounge (palm trees and waterfalls included, fyi) featuring a retractable roof and indoor heaters – all depending on how fickle the weather gods are feeling.

On the menu, the OG holiday-vibes cocktail will be getting remixed (think lavender or citrus chai versions), and throughout the duration of the pop-up you can head down for Mexican-style Sunday brunches, Margarita masterclasses and Friday night DJ sets.
