The latest capsule collection from fashion royal Tommy Hilfiger, Being Bold sees the brand seeking inspiration from the ever so iconic hangman billboard of 1985 (thank you again, George Lois, for blessing us with that campaign).
Consisting of six pieces, the new “Hilfiger Edition” line-up references what Hilfiger has described as “a turning point” in his career, with prints of the campaign appearing throughout. Giving some serious throwback vibes, the designer elsewhere noted that it will “revisit and share our heritage with the next generation of Tommy fans.” Who knew that a game of hangman could be so attractive?
From bomber to coach jackets (our faves, pictured below), through to tees and the like, the garments simultaneously show off the brand’s heritage while remaining current for the aforementioned new generation of Tommy lovers. Into it.
