PREMIERE: FRANK CARTER & THE RATTLESNAKES – “SPRAY PAINT LOVE”

The London five-piece are back with a banger.

Dropping their first piece of new music since January’s Modern Ruin, it’s no surprise that Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes were bound to make an impact on their return. And “Spray Paint Love” is a swaggering blues-tinged song packing quite the punch that’ll have you falling in love with frontman Frank Carter even more.

Speaking on the track, Frank says: “’Spray Paint Love’ was written in the early hours of the morning in the back lounge of a tour bus driving through the east coast of the United States of America. Mesmerised by the neon streets and glowing skies and the rolling landscape of unending road that we were constantly rolling along. It’s an obituary of a love song, and a reminder to live in the Now… because it’s all we have.”

Sharing the accompanying video today, it’s a neon lit masterpiece. Surrounded by mirrors, Frank takes centre stage all whilst busting some serious moves. Directed by Ross Cairns and shot in Samsung’s innovative Hypercube (in case you wanna know where to go to recreate it), it’s the perf return and an exciting glimpse of what else is to come.
